Minecraft Dungeons Now Reaches 10 Million Players
Microsoft announced today that the hit game Minecraft Dungeons has reached ten million players across all supported platforms: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and Xbox Game Pass (all versions).
“Since the launch of the game in May 2020 across Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and Xbox/PC Game Pass, you have made the game into everything it is today,” Mojang’s Kelsey Howard writes in the announcement post. “We’re grateful and thrilled to be creating this game alongside you all!”
As you might expect of such a milestone, Mojang provided some fun stats for the dungeon crawler. Minecraft Dungeons players have defeated the Arch-Illager 5,934,629 times. They spent a combined total of 1141 years in camp. And the Redstone Monstrosity has been beaten a total of 7,044,521 times (out of 19,511,994 attempts).
To celebrate, Mojang is giving a new cape and a pet to Minecraft Dungeon players. These items will appear in your inventory starting February 24 as part of a free game update.
