Grammarly is a must-have utility for all web and mobile users and now it’s going to get even broader support in other apps.

“Grammarly empowers our users to drive impactful communication outcomes with our trusted suggestions,” Grammarly CEO Brad Hoover says. “Today, we’re excited to launch Grammarly for Developers, enabling developers to deliver the same writing assistance and outcomes to their users.”

Interested developers can now apply for the Grammarly Text Editor SDK, which is available in a closed beta. This first Grammarly for Developers offering allows developers to add easy-to-use, real-time writing assistance in any web application or Chromium-based desktop app. It provides AI-powered English writing suggestions and Feedback and suggestions for correctness (grammar and writing mechanics), clarity (conciseness and readability), engagement (vocabulary and variety), and delivery (tone, formality, and confidence).
