Previously available only mobile, Google’s Grasshopper developer learning tool is now available on desktop thanks to a new web interface.

“We created Grasshopper to increase access to coding education and to help prepare people for career opportunities in tech,” Google’s Laura Holmes announced. “As part of our Grow with Google initiative to create economic opportunity for everyone, today we’re announcing that Grasshopper is now available on desktop, with additional courses to help you build new coding skills.”

Grasshopper has offered beginner coding lessons in JavaScript since its inception in April 2018, but with the move to desktop/web, Google has added courses in HTML and CSS as well. There are also two new courses, Using a Code Editor and Intro to Webpages.
