Spotify is announcing another major deal for customers in the United States today. Just last week, the company started offering 6 months of free Spotify Premium to new Samsung Galaxy S10 owners as part of its partnership with Samsung. Today, it’s expanding its deal with Hulu.

The company previously offered Hulu to Spotify Premium customers for an additional $3 every month, and it’s now making Hulu completely free for Spotify Premium users. The offer ends on June 10, and it’s only available “while supplies last.”

With the new offer, Spotify Premium users will get free access to the ad-supported plan of Hulu for free, paying only $9.99 a month for Spotify Premium. The offer is not, however, available to students or users of the Family plan.

“Today is the first time that we’re offering a Hulu plan to the masses as part of their $9.99 Spotify Premium subscription. As we push towards making Spotify Premium a gateway to a bigger world of entertainment, we’re fully committed to finding new ways to enhance the overall experience for our Premium users and this is just the beginning,” said Marc Hazan, Spotify’s Global Head of Premium Business Development.

This is quite a big deal for many reasons. Both Hulu and Spotify have been looking to push their respective subscription services in the United States following heavy competition from Apple Music and Netflix. Hulu, for example, lowered its prices after the recent Netflix price hike. And with Apple looking to get into the TV streaming service later this month, Spotify and Hulu expanding their deals is quite a smart move.
