“Send Later” is Rolling Out to Outlook on the Web

Posted June 23, 2020 | Microsoft 365 | Office 365 | Outlook on the web | Windows

A new “Send Later” feature for Outlook on the Web is now heading out to Education customers only, Microsoft says.

“Now you can schedule a mail to be sent at a later time or date using Outlook for web,” Microsoft’s Mike Tholfsen tweeted. “Just drop down the ‘Send’ button and choose ‘Send later’ and then choose a date and time.”

Tholfsen works in Microsoft’s Education team and the Microsoft 365 Roadmap site notes that this feature is only being rolled out to Education users.

But Neowin claims that the feature is also rolling out to “Office 365 enterprise customers and those with personal Microsoft accounts,” meaning Outlook.com. (Outlook on the web is for Microsoft 365 and Office 365 commercial customers, while Outlook.com is for individuals with Microsoft accounts.) I can’t confirm that, and I don’t see this feature in my Microsoft 365 commercial or Outlook.com interfaces.
