Microsoft's entry-level Surface Go variant is cheaper than ever after a discount of over $100
Microsoft’s smallest and lightest tablet yet is obviously not as powerful as the oft-discounted 12.3-inch Surface Pro 6, but since it typically starts at a more reasonable $399 price, the 10-inch Surface Go has rarely offered first or third-party buyers any massive savings.
That changes today with a killer Rakuten deal on the entry-level 4GB RAM/64GB storage configuration, which can be purchased (for a presumably limited time only) at a marked-down price of $296.65. Don’t fret if you see the 2-in-1 detachable tablet computer listed at $349, though, as you’ll also need to apply the “SAVE15” coupon code in your cart before checkout to score the full $103 savings.
That’s still pretty cool for such a versatile and productive gadget (with no keyboard cover or Surface Pen included, though), packing Intel Pentium Gold processing power, as well as a reasonably large battery rated for up to 9 hours of autonomy on a single charge in continuous video playback time.
The Surface Go also comes with a sharp “PixelSense” display sporting 1800 x 1200 resolution, a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, microSDXC card reader, 8MP rear-facing autofocus shooter, and 5MP front-facing camera with Windows Hello facial authentication technology.
