Microsoft Teams Premium is Now Available
Late Wednesday, Microsoft announced the immediate availability of Teams Premium, which costs an additional $10 per user per month.
“Built on the familiar, all-in-one collaborative experience of Microsoft Teams, Teams Premium brings the latest technologies, including Large Language Models powered by OpenAI’s GPT-3.5, to make meetings more intelligent, personalized, and protected, whether it’s one-on-one, large meetings, virtual appointments, or webinars,” Microsoft vice president Nicole Herskowitz writes. “Today, many organizations not only pay for meeting solutions, but also purchase expensive add-on products for webinars, virtual appointments, meeting intelligence, and more. With Teams Premium, customers can get these advanced meeting capabilities and more for one low cost.”
Teams Premium includes AI-powered meeting features like intelligent recap, which automatically generates meeting notes, recommended tasks, and personalized highlights; AI-generated chapters for meetings recorded in PowerPoint Live; personalized time markers so that you can see what you missed if you had to step out of a meeting; speaker timeline markers to show who was speaking during a meeting; AI-generated meeting notes; AI-generated tasks; live translations for over 40 spoken languages; branded meeting capabilities with organizational backgrounds and together mode scenes; customized meeting templates; new meeting security features like watermarking and recording limits; virtual appointment capabilities; and more.
Teams Premium is normally $10 per user per month but Microsoft is offering a $7 per user per month introductory price through June 30, 2023. You can sign up on the Teams Premium website.
