Last night, Microsoft shipped a new build of Windows 10 to Insiders in the Fast Ring. The company released build 19608 to Insiders, and it’s a pretty minor update.

The company is updating the experience for configuring default apps within the Settings app in the latest build.

The settings page for changing/setting default apps in the Settings app now includes a search box, making it easier to search for file types, protocols, and apps when you are changing the default apps. Microsoft says the change is only available for 50% of the Insiders in the Fast Ring, and it will increase the availability in the coming weeks depending on how well it works with Insiders who do have the feature.

Apart from that, there really isn’t any other new feature on the update. Microsoft detailed a new update for the Your Phone app on the announcement post for the new build, sharing the new rounded interface for messaging. It’s also making the cross-device copy & paste feature available for additional Samsung devices, introducing support for the Samsung Galaxy S10e/S10/S10+, Note 10, and Fold devices.
