Grammarly Users Get New Features on iPad

Posted June 17, 2020 | Cloud | Grammarly | iPadOS | Windows

Grammarly today is rolling out several updates for iPad users, including a dedicated Editor in the Grammarly app and the Grammarly Keyboard.

“People rely on iPad as part of their workflow, and having a seamless, connected experience across multiple devices is essential for remaining productive,” the firm told me. “Grammarly users asked for a more seamless editing and feedback experience across their devices, and this new update delivers.”

Here’s what’s coming.

Grammarly Editor. Grammarly is bringing an iPad-optimized version of the Grammarly Editor to the Grammarly app so you no longer need to use a web browser. And it supports hardware keyboards, too, a nice addition give the rise of this capability on iPad.

Grammarly Keyboard. Grammarly for iPad brings the Grammarly Keyboard to all of your apps, as it does on iPhone, so that you can get writing help for short-form writing in tweets, emails, texts, and so on.

Weekly snapshot of writing progress and stats. Some Grammarly users probably see this information in a weekly email, but now you can access a weekly snapshot of your writing progress and stats directly from the iPad app. This includes data about your accuracy, vocabulary, and more. (It’s something I look forward to each week.)

This update will be available today, Grammarly says.
