Google’s Pixel 4a Detailed in New Leaked Video

Posted March 11, 2020 | Android | Hardware | Mobile | Pixel | Pixel 4a | Windows

Google is terrible at keeping secrets. Almost every single time we are expecting a new phone or other hardware from the company, we know essentially everything about that product before the official announcement.

And looks like the upcoming Pixel 4a’s launch will not be any different. Thanks to a Cuban YouTube channel, we are getting our first detailed look at Google’s upcoming Pixel device this week.

The 6-minute+ hands-on video gives us a very good look at the Pixel 4a, and it’s just what you’d expect. The main striking difference here is the new front design on the Pixel 4a, which is the first Pixel phone to feature a hole-punch display. The new front design certainly looks way better than the regular Pixel 4 handsets.

The back of the device is made of plastic and features a fingerprint scanner as well. The camera only features a single 12MP lens and a flash on the back, with an 8MP front-facing camera.

As for the display, there is a 5.81-inch display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz. That means the Pixel 4a won’t have the same Smooth Display that we have seen on the regular Pixel devices.

Under the hood, the Pixel 4a is powered by a Snapdragon 730 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. There’s also a 3,080mAh battery, support for dual-SIM, but no option for 5G.
