Google is rolling out a fairly major update to its Google Podcasts app this week. Google Podcasts is coming to iPhones for the first time, and it’s also getting improvements on other platforms.

The launch of Google Podcasts for iOS comes following a new redesign of Podcasts on Android. The new app has been updated to be better organised, giving users quick access to their subscribed podcasts.

With the new design, the Home tab features a feed of all the new episodes from podcasts you love. From the Explore tab, users can get show and episode recommendations based on their interests, and browse podcasts from different categories. And the Activity tab will give you access to your listening history, queued up episodes, and downloads.

For the first time ever, Google is letting users access subscriptions on Google Podcasts for Web with the latest update. And those on Android will now be able to enable automatic downloads, so new episodes for podcasts they subscribe to will be automatically downloaded for offline listening.
