Following all the recent privacy controversies, Google is revamping Google Account to give users increased transparency. The company today started rolling out a new Google Account app on Android, which not only gives users all the details about the data Google collects, but also provides them with easier control over their privacy, and more.

There’s a new Data & Personalization section within the app where users can see what type of data is collected by Google across all its products and services like Chrome, YouTube, Pixel, Assistant, etc. From there, users can choose to disable the collection of certain activity data or find out how exactly it helps Google improve their services.

Google is also adding a new search feature that helps users quickly find settings and info on their Google Account. You can easily search for things like saved passwords, activity data, etc. without needing to find exactly where it is located in the app. The updated Account will also give users privacy and security suggestions, and a privacy checkup future where users can control what data is being collected about them.

“We are committed to providing you with the controls you need to choose what’s right for you. For years, we’ve built and refined tools to help you easily understand, protect, and control your information. As needs around security and privacy evolve, we will continue to improve these important tools to help you control how Google works for you,” the company said in a blog post. The updated Google Account experience is landing for all Android users today, but it’ll arrive for iOS devices and the web later this year.
