Today, Dell announced a redesigned family of Inspiron laptops in 13-, 14-, 15-, and 16-inch form factors. It also added an OLED display option to its XPS 13.

“The PC is more than just a piece of technology, it’s a gateway to your passions, your work, your play, and who you are,” Dell’s Kevin Terwilliger writes in the announcement post. “Nothing brings you closer to the things that matter than our new Inspiron series, featuring a lineup that empowers the freedom of expression, connection, and communication with a whole lot of style.”

The new Inspiron laptops have been completely redesigned and feature colorful new minimalist designs with lid-open sensors, optional fingerprint readers, adaptive thermals, ExpressCharge fast charging for an 80 percent charge in 60 minutes, and, best of all, your choice of 11th-generation Intel Core processors or AMD Ryzen 5000 U-Series Mobile Processors.

The Inspiron 16 Plus also offers a 16:10 display, Intel Core H-series processors, optional NVIDIA GTX or RTX discrete graphics, and a more robust thermal management system.

The Dell Inspiron 13 starts at $599, while the Inspiron 14 starts at $549, the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 starts at $729, the Inspiron 15 starts at $549, and the Inspiron 16 Plus starts at $949. And an OLED display upgrade for a Dell XPS 13 will cost an additional $300 at the time of configuration.
