As expected, Google introduced its mid-range Pixel line today. The Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are being marketed as a way for consumers to get the great Pixel photography experience at a lower price. The Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are $399 and $479, respectively. As is typical, Google released some new videos and ads related to today’s announcement.
In another video, rappers 2 Chainz and Awkwafina are talking about their unnamed phones running out of storage. Awkwafina reveals that the other day she had to delete a picture of her grandmother in order to take a picture of…her grandmother. Both artists say that they want a phone that knows them, knows their tastes, schedule and where to get sea bass when they crave it. “Are we asking too much for a phone that does the dope things we want without paying for the dumb things we don’t want?” says Awkwafina. So both decide to say goodbye to their current handsets, which will replaced by the Pixel 3a.
